6/17/19 - Glenwood Springs

Susie still wasn't feeling that great, so we hung around town in the morning.

We decided to go check out Aspen in the afternoon (about 40 miles north of Glenwood Springs).  It was nice, but seemed way too fancy for me.  There were a number of trucks parked all over taking down tents and tables and generators that evidently been set up for an event sponsored by "Food and Wine" magazine.  We talked to someone at the visitor center and they said it was one of the biggest events of the year.

We had a nice picnic lunch and wandered around town a little.

Back at Glenwood Springs, we checked out the hot springs pool.

And we did find a nice restaurant for dinner (among the rose bushes).

When we walked back to the hotel, we took a shot from the Pedestrian Bridge over I-70, the Colorado River and the rail tracks (for Ollie - just like the game - Rivers, Roads and Rails).
