6/18/19 - Glenwood Springs to Home
We got up and packed and I tried out the hot springs one more time before we checked out the breakfast buffet.
I tried to get a picture of the steam coming off the water, but it didn't quite work.
We headed east on I-70. Again, the scenery was spectacular. We went over Vail Pass - it was cold up there..
And finally got to the airport, where Susie found a brewpub for me....
(Barry and Gary would be appalled to know that they have a Silver Bullet (Coors Light) Pub at the airport. But even I couldn't stoop that low.)
When we finally got back to the Indianapolis airport (the flight was delayed over 2 hours due to the thunderstorms in Denver), we caught the shuttle bus to the off-site parking. I tried to explain to the bus driver that I had left my keys there because there were no open charging stations and they were going to charge up the car while we were gone. Then when we got back, they would tell him where the car was and give him the keys. Everyone on the shuttle was a little skeptical, but it worked. All charged up and ready to go....
Got home around 1AM. It was good to be home......
